AUSTIN PEAY -4 AT EASTERN ILLINOIS

What we have here is a case of a vetern very good defenseive team against a young team that doesn't play defense. E. ILL. scores 69.3ppg while giving up 74.9ppg. AUSTIN PEAY scores 64.1ppg and gives up 62.5ppg. AUSTIN PEAY also has the best shot blocker in the OVC to control the middle in center JOSH LEWIS.

SOUTHEAST MISSOURI STATE -4 (bought the hook) vs TENN. TECH.

They won't shoot 30.8% this game. They spent half of practice yesterday on thier motion offense setting and coming off of HARD SCREENS. This now has become a must win game. What teams work for in the OVC is to finish the reglar season in the top 4 so they can hoast a first round tourney game. That's hard to do if you end up with more than 3 home losses and they now have one.

I also lean toward MURRAY STATE -9 at E. KENTUCKY but I can't make myself pull the trigger until I see another game or two from E. KENTUCKY. More on MURRAY STATE later in the year.

I looked at the games and am with you on SEMO. I had Morehead State, but scratched them because they have been atrocious and couldn't lay that many on them.

I agree with you on Morehead. They haven't really played a good game this year, but I don't really want to bet against them either. I'll just leave them alone for now. I really like AUSTIN PEAY today. When you get one of the top OVC teams against one of the bottom teams (and I believe E. ILL. is one of those) and a small number, I'll take it.
